This course meets the OSHA requirement for annual refresher training for those who have taken the appropriate classes. Designed for emergency responders as well as hazardous waste staff, heavy equipment operators, hydrogeologists, engineers, safety officers and others involved in cleanup of hazardous waste sites.
The EPA’s Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) rule requires certification of contractors and maintenance staff performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint (LBP). The rule applies when renovators impact LBP in pre-1978 child-occupied facilities.
This course allows safety, health and environmental personnel, heavy equipment operators, technicians, and others involved with investigation and remediation of hazardous waste sites and facilities to meet OSHA’s training requirements. Students who successfully complete the course receive a certificate of completion from the EPA Office of Emergency and Remedial Response.
